Let us come back to my main travel impression. The day of our leaving was marked by advertising information through Internet. The question appeared if it was reasonable to go on our travel. We thought whether it was presageful sign as newspapers started carrying advertisements with messages to alert people who have recently returned from overseas about symptoms to look out for and if they fit the criteria to seek medical attention. The medical services provided posters and business card-sized health messages to all international airports. The posters alerted incoming passengers to the signs of influenza and asked people to contact customs or quarantine staff if they feel unwell. A second poster and hand card suggested new arrivals to monitor their health over the following seven days, asking them to seek medical advice if signs develop. These messages were also relevant for helping to limit the spread of seasonal influenza as we came into the winter flu season. The next kid's question was about our common near time-schedule. We found that she feared to be late for our flight. Then we lost our question of urgent leaving. By the way to the airport I thought of undesired delay of our flight possible for snowing. We made the stupid mistake of coming 2 hours early, like how everyone suggests. Then we had to recreate our daughter and ourselves. As we took the kid to travel far away our home we had home food for her. (Hot dogs and soda hurt children stomachs.) She was hungry and it was a good sign. I advised my girl to get food inside her body, eat it slowly and enjoy the food she was eating. That way of feeding she wasted time chewing very slowly and the time passed. Then the kid found another good way to past time. Dad gave her is CD-player for listening to music. It was relax time. Each song was like 2-4 minutes and when she listened to high quantity of songs, time did fly by. The daughter fell asleep. So she realized her Granny's plan to spend time waiting for the flight. That was also a good sign. The parents avoid a lot of kids' questions. I got a happy chance to listen to music and time went by pretty fast. |
